The City of Hamilton's Public Works and Communitiy Services Departments continue to develop the deLottinville Neighbourhood Park design project. Concepts will be available for review for the new 1.5 hectare (3.7 acres) parkland adjacent to Newcombe Road in the Conservation Run subdivision.

Area residents are invited to attend this public meeting and participate in this project by providing their comments.

Use your Bike Bell!

The City does enforce a law that requires all bicycles to be equipped with a bell, and this law is stated in the provincial Highway Traffic Act (HTA) in section 75:

Alarm bell to be sounded

(5) Every motor vehicle, motor assisted bicycle and bicycle shall be equipped with an alarm bell, gong or horn, which shall be kept in good working order and sounded whenever it is reasonably necessary to notify pedestrians or others of its approach. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 75 (5).
